Wild one..
Soooo this is my friend Scarlett and this is her tumblr blog....jus recently got engaged! I just love her photos, and she's the one who took my profile pic. You wouldn't of guessed but we were currently at a orchestra concert, having a picnic sipping pimms, and listening to the British anthem, whilst joining the hundreds of patriotic keenos saluting spitfires!!?
One of the most random, funniest days ever! :)
God save the corgi
Okay so one of my most obvious drawings.....the Queen's dog in her crown. SURPRISE SURPRISE!! Typical me though to give it the lop-sided rude boi look. What can i say!!?? cut me some slack,it had been a long day and that was the only twist i could think of for the drawing.
Yeah and you might of guessed, it's another animal linked to British culture, so applied it to my Fred Perry brandzine as a title page for the music section. Option.....give it a street boy body carrying an ols skool boom box. For it to fit in the magazine though, i had to shrink the corgi head on Photoshop to fit on the body....obviously. :)
An offer he can't refuse.....
One of my favourite films of all time is The Codfather….(except the third one). I love Marlon Brando, and the fact he stuffed two cotton wool balls in his gums to achieve that famous voice and droopy cheeks. Legend. Anyway the brandzine previously mentioned had a bit of humour in it and bit of rebellion so incorporating some of my illustration went towards this.
Fred Perry was pretty much one of the first brands to influence British culture and still continues to dedicate itself to different subcultures, and its loyalty to its customers still remains, which I think has made it such a success. Not sure if you’ve noticed but so many brands (especially British brands) are following this concept, concentrating on heritage but to be honest Fred Perry was the initiator of this. It’s loyal, dedicates its time to the music industry, has always been emotionally connected with its customers and still is, a plus is it showcases new bands on its website and blog.
If you’ve ever seen The Godfather, some of these aspects sum up his continuous actions (to a certain degree). So drawing the synonymous polo tshirt combined with a British touch was my decision to illustrate the brand and its essence……drawing a British animal, a Cod. Thought a cod’s face looked similar to Marlon Brando’s. :)
Okay. So. whilst i was at uni i set myself a brief for my final project to create a brandzine for Fred Perry. As i love illustration, i decided to incoporate some of my drawings into the publication. As i've mentioned before i have a love for animals and pretty much use them in the majority of my drawings.....so here they are!!! :)

Sloth-zine
On the previous subject of animals thought i'd slip in a dedication to my past uni friends and good times. Back in the hay day of the second year of uni my good mate Sadie and I went through a phase of becoming obsessed with sloths!!? (and we still are). We created the zine sloth-zine. We had so much fun making it and spent quite alot of our time finding sloth jokes.....this is just one of them that made us laugh hysterically in the middle of the quiet computer room. So thought i'd share it with you all. I hope you find as funny as we did! :)
"A sloth was walking through the jungle one day when he was set upon a gang of viscious snails. The snails left him bleeding and confused at the bottom of a tree where several hours later he summoned the strength to go to the police station and report the assault. He was asked by the desk sergeant to describe his attackers. He replied, "I don't know what they looked like, it all happened so fast!"

Nicola Formichetti plus pug
These images show a perfect example of what style i like in creativity, and what my humour is. Animals are a strong like of mine! The fact that Nicola Formichetti helped with this artistry is brilliant plus as well. :) x
